Felix Baker (Matthew James Morrison) feels pushed into Johnny Carter’s (Charlie Suff) outer circle next week when he grows closer to Callum Highway (Tony Clay).
The storyline seems to come about as a way of wrapping up Felix and Johnny’s relationship ahead of the former’s exit this summer.
The two haven’t had the smoothest of journeys.
Having been set up by Johnny’s mum Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), she was shocked to discover that Felix was dating other people, not realising the casual nature of their relationship.
Johnny initially seemed on board with the idea – but when he couldn’t get any plans booked in, he realised that he’d rather have something more committed.
After a number of rejections, the pair seem to finally be on the same page this week as things turn more serious. That being said, it doesn’t go without a hitch.

Johnny knows that he’ll have to win over Felix’s housemate Bernie Taylor’s (Clair Norris) trust, which could prove quite the issue given that he covered up her brother’s murder for months.
Even Denise Fox (Diane Parish) – who was complicit in his death – has fears about pushing her buttons.
Whatever happens, it seems to go smoothly, as by next week, Johnny agrees to move in with Felix.
Callum is surprised by the news, but could there be a reason as to why?
Well, if you cast your minds back to last summer, you’ll remember that a romance between the two was hotly teased. Johnny leaned in for a kiss, but Callum asserted that he was committed to his marriage with imprisoned Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden).
In upcoming scenes, after seeming to be a picture of happiness, Felix is taken aback to see Johnny hanging out with Callum.
He’s even more aggrieved when he discovers that his partner will miss The Prince Albert’s pride celebrations, due to his grandma Elaine Knight’s (Harriet Thorpe) hospitalisation.
