EastEnders has aired a passionate reunion for Denise and Ravi following a turbulent few days for the secret couple.

Denise and Ravi have been secretly seeing each other for the past couple weeks after reigniting their former romance at Christmas.

Recent events have come between the two after Denise was attacked by Nish on New Year’s Day and left for dead and Ravi pushed his dad off the balcony.

Fans of the soap will know that Ravi deliberately pushed his dad Nish, who was tied to Suki at the time, off the balcony resulting in Nish’s death.

In Monday’s episode (January 6), Ravi came clean to Denise, telling her to walk away from the relationship after becoming consumed with guilt about what had happened.

In tonight’s episode (January 7) the Panesar’s got together to celebrate Suki’s return from the hospital, bringing a Hawaiian honeymoon to the lounge for the newlyweds.

Distracted by the prospect of Nish’s funeral taking place the same day, Nugget told Priya that nobody could be bothered to go to the funeral.

In an attempt to reason with Nugget, Priya said: “I don’t like what Nish has done to you and I don’t think you can see it,” before agreeing to attend the funeral alongside him.

Meanwhile, Denise went to visit Suki and the conversation soon turned to Ravi, with Suki saying: “It’s a heavy burden for Ravi to carry alone, I think he’s going to need a friend.”

After Denise realised that Ravi needed support, she visited him at Walford East, saying: “I don’t just stop being your friend, Ravi, because you tell me to. You don’t make my decisions for me.”

Following a heart to heart where Denise reassured Ravi that Nish had intended to die that day, the pair ended up in each other’s arms, sharing a passionate kiss in the kitchen.
