SHOCKING NEWS!! EastEnders airs dramatic Tommy outcome in early iPlayer release

EastEnders has aired a dramatic outcome in Tommy Moon’s abuse story in the show’s latest episode.

This week, Tommy’s behaviour spiralled out of control, and at a family dinner he smashed up the living room and left Freddie with burns.

The Slaters found out about his violence against Kat, and the family later discovered that Tommy had also been hurting the twins.

While Kat continued to defend her son and minimise the situation, Jean believed she had to intervene, and she secretly made a call to social services about Tommy.

In today’s episode, things were tense as Alfie prepared to start his new job at the Minute Mart, while Jean reflected on her actions and felt guilty.

As Kat and the boys were leaving for school, social services and the police arrived to talk to the family, after receiving an urgent report.

They asked about Tommy injuring Bert and Ernie and Kat denied anything was wrong, but they then spoke to the children alone about the situation.

Meanwhile, Stacey was shocked when Jean admitted that she called social services, but Jean was adamant that she had to protect the twins and the wider family.

Kat continued to lie when she was questioned, but when the social worker said she had seen the twins’ bruises, she was forced to tell the social worker that Tommy was violent.

Social services asked if there was any family Tommy could stay with, but Stacey and Jean refused to help, in order protect their own kids from him.

Bianca offered to take in Tommy, but she wasn’t deemed fit to look after him, and it looked like he was going to be put in care.

Alfie tried to persuade Jean to change her mind, but during his visit he realised that she was the one who had phoned social services. Alfie agreed with what she did but thought it best that Kat doesn’t find out.

As Alfie protected Kat from another altercation with their son, Zack reached out and offered to take in Tommy – and as a registered foster carer, he was accepted.

With Tommy now living next door, Kat falsely accused Alfie of calling social services and demanded that he move out of the flat.

Will they be able to make amends?
