After much digging, she discovered the culprit was Stefan, the father of Corey Brent, the teen who killed her own son, Seb.

The situation reached the point where Abi felt the need to leave Weatherfield for a while.

But in upcoming Coronation Street scenes, Abi returns from her trip to Essex and makes it clear to Kevin she wants to forget all about Stefan.

However, later in the week, Debbie comes to the rescue after she spots Jack being bullied about Abi’s video.

She explains to him that the videos are not really Abi, but Jack makes Debbie promise not to tell Kevin and Abi that he knows.

Meanwhile Debbie is shocked when Stefan arrives at the hotel.

What trouble is about to cause now for the family?

The storyline began when Abi switched on the TV to hear the presenter singing the praises of Corey and his football prowess, three years after he was found guilty of causing Seb’s death.

As Abi watched in horror, Kevin was forced to reveal that Corey was playing for his prison football team.

Having watched the documentary which painted Corey as a hero, Abi was incensed.

She and Nina, who had been Seb’s girlfriend and fellow victim of Corey’s attack, called the TV company responsible for the documentary.

They later barged their way into the producer’s office demanding answers, only to discover Stefan’s involvement.

After Abi then filmed an appeal to have the documentary taken down, Stefan launched his bitter attack on her.
