Coronation Street‘s Helen Flanagan has spoken out about her future acting plans, revealing that she
would “love” to make a cobbles comeback.
Flanagan played Rosie Webster from 2000-2012 and made a short return in 2017, but she hasn’t been
seen in Weatherfield since Rosie left to host a TV gameshow in Japan.
With the actor about to make her debut on reality show Celebs Go Dating, she has now told OK! that she is keen to bring Rosie back to Weatherfield once her children are older.

“I would never say never when it comes to Corrie but the filming schedule could be quite intense for my little boy at the moment,” she said. “I’d love to return at some point.”
Flanagan, who is mum to nine-year-old Matilda, six-year-old Delilah and three-year-old Charlie, added that she ‘really wants’ to return to acting in the future, revealing that she has recently secured a new role after attending an audition.
“I am a mummy so I always consider my children before I take jobs on,” she explained.
Helen, whose 13-year relationship with footballer Scott Sinclair ended in 2022, will soon be seen in the new series of Celebs Go Dating.

The actor will be joined by stars including Married at First Sight UK‘s Ella Morgan, Love Island‘s Chris Taylor and former Hollyoaks star Jamelia.
Fans began speculating earlier this summer that Flanagan may be planning a return to Weatherfield, after she shared a series of throwback photos from her time on Corrie.
Her followers were even more delighted when the star’s former co-stars Sally Dynevor (Sally Webster) and Jack P Shepherd (David Platt) both commented on her post, with Shepherd even predicting that she’d be returning.
