Coronation Street Soap Scoop! Fears grow for Todd

Coronation Street‘s Todd Grimshaw makes the toughest decision of his life next week, when he opens up to Lisa Swain and Kit Green about Theo Silverton’s campaign of terror against him.
Covered in blood, Todd visits the police station, where he reveals all about the trauma that Theo has put him through. But do Lisa and Kit have Theo bang to rights – or will he flee the cobbles unpunished?
“Theo knows his time is up,” reveals our Coronation Street source. “There’s nowhere to hide now that Todd has spoken up. But it won’t be easy for Theo to just skip town, as Todd’s ordeal quickly becomes public knowledge.

“Weatherfield residents will surely be on high alert, but given all we know about Theo, surely he will do anything to get his way…”
The week begins with Summer Spellman mulling over Carl Webster’s comment that someone other than Debbie was responsible for Billy Mayhew’s death.

Fearing the worst, Summer makes the bold move to visit Theo and quiz him about Billy’s final moments – only to find out that he and Todd are speeding up their plans to relocate to Belfast.
More concerned than ever, Summer meets Todd at The Rovers, where she shares her fears that Theo killed Billy. Will Todd believe the sinister accusation?

Having heard about Theo and Todd’s plans to move quickly, Sarah Platt brings George Shuttleworth up to speed on the situation. With Summer, the pair then call at Todd’s flat – but it’s Theo that talks to them through the intercom.
“Theo pretends that he and Todd are already on their way to Belfast,” explains our insider. “He makes up a twisted lie that Todd is paying for petrol so can’t talk. The truth is that Todd is locked in his bedroom, and Theo is refusing to let him out.”
Eventually, Todd convinces Theo to free him so he can contact Sarah and ‘prove’ they’re on their way to Belfast. Todd successfully convinces Sarah of his abuser’s lie, before Theo explains that he’s going to hop in the shower.
With Theo out of sight, Todd makes a high-risk attempt to escape the flat. Meanwhile, Sarah and Kit are chatting at home when they are alerted to someone at their door. Who wants to talk to them?
Later in the week, Todd summons up the courage to report Theo for assault, as well as sustained emotional and physical abuse.
“Todd is covered in blood when he talks to Kit and Lisa,” shares our spy. “Expect to be devastated by Todd’s appearance – but also flooded with relief that he’s finally speaking out. The question now is whether Theo can be brought to justice.”
Knowing his true colours have been exposed, Theo is desperate to leave Weatherfield. However, with news of his cruel behaviour spreading like wildfire, will Theo be in handcuffs before the day is up? Or will he manage to slip through the cracks and escape justice?
