Fortunately, Daisy (Charlotte Jordan) and Jenny managed to recover funds that were stolen by murderer Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce), who was Jenny’s former partner.

After his demise, Carla (Alison King) was heartbroken, thinking she would never see her money again, unaware that Daisy had accessed Stephen’s bank accounts and taken the cash to purchase the pub.

In April, the truth finally emerged, leading an enraged Carla to lay down the law for Jenny and Daisy after learning they had stolen from her. She declared, “Until you two pay me back every single penny, this place is mine,” meaning that Carla now owned the pub.
