Bernie hopes to use Kit’s position in the police force to her advantage, begging him to do whatever he can to secure Gemma’s release.
Kit reluctantly complies and visits the shoe shop, where he asks the owner whether there’s any chance of letting Gemma off.
Gemma is confused over why Kit is helping her, still unaware that he’s her long-lost brother.
A grateful Gemma introduces Kit to Chesney and the kids, but Kit gets distracted when he receives a shocking call from his dad.
