Jenny Connor’s past returns to haunt her on Coronation Street next week, when Christina Boyd arrives back on the Street with news that Dom has died.
Suspicious Jenny is convinced it’s another one of the couple’s scams, cooked up to get their hands on George Shuttleworth’s cash.

In the lead-up to the macabre drama, Jenny’s attentions are firmly on George. The lonely undertaker has turned to online dating in the hope of finding his perfect match. Jenny fears George is being too trusting with the ladies he meets, but that might also be a bit of jealousy talking.
Glenda clocks Jenny’s concern for her brother and tries to reassure her. But their conversation is interrupted when Christina walks into The Rovers asking to see George.
Last time viewers saw Daisy Midgeley’s devious mum, she was being marched out of Weatherfield by Kit Green after her plot to destroy Jenny’s life was exposed.
Christina was in cahoots with her secret lover Dom, who catfished Jenny by posing as an admirer. The pair nearly made off with Jenny’s thousands, but now it appears Dom is no more.
“Christina reveals Dom recently passed away,” shares our insider. “She’s come to see George to discuss the arrangements for his funeral, but Jenny reckons there’s something shady going on.”
Jenny voices her suspicions to Glenda Shuttleworth and Brian Packham – she believes Dom and Christina have faked his death as part of a new scheme to con George. His kind nature makes him an easy target and Jenny fears he’s being fleeced.
Later in the week, Jenny discusses the matter with Steve McDonald, who reveals some information that leaves Jenny confident George is Christina and Dom’s next victim…
Taking matters into her own hands, Jenny storms into the funeral parlour and interrupts George and Christina’s meeting. She tells her friend he’s been taken for a fool by catfish Christina.
