Alina Pop has fled Weatherfield without her son in Coronation Street.
Friday’s (August 23) episode saw Alina facing more threats to both her life and the life of her son Dorin
because of her upcoming tesimtony in a gangland trial.
She recently returned to the cobbles to help put some local crooks behind bars, with Tyrone then
discovering he had a son he’d never known about.
While Fiz tried to keep the peace in the latest instalment, she remained concerned about Alina and Tyrone revisiting their romantic spark.

In a later scene, Alina was getting ready for court when one of the gangsters tried to barge into her hotel room. Ronnie Bailey was able to run off the mug but Alina was deeply shaken.
Tyrone explained to Fiz that he’d received a phone call telling him that Alina had been attacked. Alina arrived with a suitcase in hand to ask Fiz and Tyrone to take in Dorin because the little one was in serious danger.
“It won’t be forever. Just until this trial is over,” she begged. “This is the best way, the only way to make sure no-one gets to him.”
Alina was confident that nobody had followed her to No. 9, so nobody should know Dorin would be living with Tyrone and Fiz.
Fiz and Tyrone essentially had no choice but to accept Dorin moving in with them — at least temporarily — because the child was certainly at risk
