Coronation Street is set to reveal the outcome of Daisy Midgeley’s big DNA test decision.

Viewers will know that Daisy and Daniel Osbourne recently had a one-night stand following Daniel’s brief split from Bethany Platt. However, he left Daisy shocked when he declared it was a mistake and reconciled with Bethany.

Daisy has also learnt that she is pregnant, though isn’t sure whether the father is Daniel or Kit Green.

In new scenes set to air on the soap, Daniel asks Daisy to take a DNA test after learning about her pregnancy as he needs to know whether she is carrying his baby. She goes ahead and books the test, insisting that Daniel go with her.

Later on in the week, Jenny is alarmed to find Daisy in pain in the back room of the Rovers and tries to get her to the hospital. Kit arrives at the hospital and there Daisy invites him to attend the scan.

Daisy gets the results of the DNA test later in the week and reads it to herself. However, she decides to delete it and informs Jenny that the identity of the father isn’t relevant, and will remain a secret.

Jenny is shocked by her decision – but what has the test revealed?

The scenes come as Daisy has a tense encounter with Bethany and Daniel in the Rovers, with her jealousy taking a turn that will have big consequences.

With major secrets set to come out, Bethany decides to go forward with her move to London.
