Coronation Street will air new tensions next week, as Daisy Midgeley continues to keep her major baby secret under wraps.
Daisy recently discovered that she is pregnant, but she was left unsure as to who her baby’s father is: Kit Green, who she had started a relationship with, or her ex Daniel Osbourne, who she had a one-night stand with after his brief split from Bethany Platt.
Daisy agreed to take a DNA test to find out who her child’s father is but, in a surprise twist, she decided to read the results and delete them without sharing the news with anybody else.
In scenes that will air on Wednesday, February 19, Daniel and Kit are both feeling confused by the fact that they still haven’t heard from Daisy about the DNA test results.
With both men desperate to find out if they’re her baby’s dad, they head to The Rovers and start putting pressure on Daisy to find out the results.
But Daisy lies that she is still waiting for the results to come through, hiding the fact that she has already read them and deleted all evidence.
How long will it before Daniel and Kit realise that Daisy has been hiding the truth from them for all this time? And will they ever find out who the baby’s father is?
With Bethany having just left the cobbles following the shock of discovering that fiancé Daniel had cheated on her, the baby storyline will also lead to Daisy’s departure in the coming months.
Charlotte Jordan recently confirmed that she is leaving her role as Daisy after four years, with Amy Robbins due to return to the soap as Daisy’s mother Christina as part of her exit plot.
