Mollie Gallagher happens to share her last name with Liam and Noel Gallagher of the Oasis Perhaps, that’s why many enthusiastic fans started to assure that there is a connection there. However, it turns out that there isn’t one. After being pestered by the question for a while, the actress finally took to her social media to issue a clarification.

“her who plays Nina from Corrie isn’t the daughter of @liamgallagher btw xxx,” Mollie wrote on X. The confusion arose after the Gallagher brothers started headlines over their possible reunion. Fans of The Oasis flocked to ticketing websites to try and secure passes to their show.

However, when the websites began crashing and glitching due to traffic, some fans approached Mollie assuming her to be Liam’s daughter. But the Coronation Street star clarified that she is not related to Liam and Noel. Interestingly, Liam’s daughter’s name is Molly Moorish-Gallagher. So we can see how the confusion began!

Well, now that Mollie has clarified the truth, we can assume that she isn’t being bombarded by zealous fans for tickets anymore! But what is she going to do about her cheeky co-stars? Shortly after she put up the post, her former co-star Jack James Ryan, who portrayed Jacob Hay, joked in the replies: ‘Ask your dad to sort me a ticket. It was a joke of course!

As for her run on Corrie, Nina has been busy standing alongside Roy Cropper after he was falsely implicated for Lauren Bolton’s murder. But now that he is out of prison and starting life afresh, we hope to see Nina in the center of a more meaty storyline!
