It hasn’t been long since Ken Barlow got a carer, and now that he has one, there are problems already. In the coming week, Cassie Plummer’s silly behaviour makes him super furious. Viewers already know that Ken has been having a hard time after suffering a fall.

Initially, he was pretty adamant about not getting a caretaker.However, eventually, he surrendered to their worries. But then, his family members, including Steve, Amy, and Daniel, encounter a new problem. They wonder how Ken will afford a professional caretaker. Amy even suggests using Ken’s wife, Deirdre’s inheritance. But obviously, Ken refuses.

As the week continues, Cassie enters as their saviour. After overhearing their chat, she offers to help Ken out. Although doesn’t have any professional qualifications, but she has previously cared for an ex-boyfriend. Cassie finally begins her job, only to ruin everything in a few days.

As the time passes, Cassie apologises to Ken. To surprise, Ken realises it was a misunderstanding and gives her another chance. Now, they start bonding better and sharing things.
