Chesney Brown and Gemma Winter-Brown just got the worst news ever. Next week, they’re getting kicked out of their home. Viewers must recall that since Gemma found out she was having quadruplets back in 2019, money troubles have been a big part of their lives.

They have been struggling to manage their small house. Over the past year, things have gotten tougher for Chesney and Gemma. They are surviving on the bare minimum for food and clothes for their kids. However, Joseph’s grandma swoops into their lives a few weeks back amidst their downfall.

She splashed out on fancy stuff, even getting Joseph into a posh school called Oakhill. She also bought them this huge American fridge. Meanwhile, Chesney had to beg their landlord to fix their broken boiler practically. The whole family had to use the neighbour’s shower at Dev’s house.

In the most recent episode, Gemma sought legal advice about her homes from solicitor Dee-Dee Bailey. Just when she was hurrying home to tell Chesney, the landlord suddenly showed up. He immediately handed over an eviction notice. Gemma and Chesney were devastated.

Soon after, Dee-Dee tried to help. However, she discovered that the landlord had all the right to evict them. This shattered Gemma and Chesney’s all hopes. Meanwhile, Joseph’s classmate’s mom dropped him off from school and revealed they own a ‘catering empire.’ This made the family ‘ashamed’ of their financial condition.
