Coronation Street‘s cast have officially kicked off the campaign for votes in this year’s Inside Soap
Awards.
Some of the ITV show’s most popular stars have teamed up for an exclusive nominees photoshoot, which
appears in this week’s edition of Inside Soap.
Cast took time out from their busy filming schedules to take part in the shoot at a studio in Manchester earlier this month.
Digital Spy was given exclusive video access to the day and spoke to each of the cast involved, so you don’t want to miss our behind-the-scenes footage at the top of this page.

Following their emotional performances in Paul Foreman and Billy Mayhew’s storyline over the past year, Peter Ash and Daniel Brocklebank were among those taking centre stage.
Peter and Daniel have both received nominations for Best Actor in this year’s longlist, as well as being up for Best Partnership and Best Storyline for Paul’s journey living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
Meanwhile, with sinister Joel Deering continuing to deceive his fiancée Dee-Dee Bailey in the ongoing Lauren Bolton story, Calum Lill and Channique Sterling-Brown were also part of the shoot.
Calum has made the longlist in the Best Villain and Best Showstopper categories this year, while Channique has received a nomination for Best Actress.

Rising star Vicky Myers was also invited to take part after being nominated for Best Newcomer, with her no-nonsense character DS Lisa Swain now a Corrie regular.
Samia Longchambon was also present to celebrate her nomination for Best Actress, after her emotional performances as Maria Connor in Liam’s hard-hitting school bullying storyline.
Lucy Fallon – aka Bethany – was on hand to represent the Platts following their nomination in the Best Family category.
