Coronation Street and EastEnders stars are set to go head-to-head as Celebrity Catchphrase comes back to screens.
The “timeless” series, which sees contestants battle to identify well-known phrases, is due to return on ITV this Sunday (March 23), with the line-ups for this season’s episodes unveiled.
The premiere will see EastEnders‘ Adam Woodyatt (aka Ian Beale) face off against Coronation Street‘s Jack P Shepherd (David Platt) and Loose Women‘s Olivia Attwood.

They aren’t the only soap stars appearing, with Adam’s fellow EastEnders star Jake Wood (Max Branning) starring in episode three, while Jack’s fellow Corrie stars Sue Cleaver (Eileen Grimshaw) and Will Mellor (Harvey Gaskell) are competing in episodes 7 and 8.
Also signing-up this season are Emmerdale‘s Lisa Riley (Mandy Dingle) and Mark Charnock (Marlon Dingle), while other celebrities include The One Show‘s Alex Jones, Girls Aloud’s Nadine Coyle, This Morning‘s Siân Welby, Steps’ Claire Richards and RuPaul’s Drag Race‘s Michelle Visage.
Strictly‘s Tyler West, Kaiser Chiefs’ Ricky Wilson, presenter Rick Edwards, BGT winner Axel Blake, GMB‘s Richard Madeley, Andor’s Ben Bailey Smith, Taskmaster‘s Kerry Godliman and Asim Chaudhry, Loose Women‘s Janet Street-Porter, presenters Mark Chapman, Laura Jackson and Jeremy Vine, comedians Darren Harriott, Seann Walsh and Luke Kempner, All Saints’ Mel Blatt, and DJ Charlie Hedges complete the line-up.
