CORONATION Street fans have been left stunned as a rarely seen Weatherfield character reappeared on
the cobbles.
Izzy Armstrong (Cherylee Houston) first appeared on the long-running ITV soap in 2010.

Since then, she has been embroiled in a range of dramatic storylines on Coronation Street.
These included Tina’s (Michelle Keegan) surrogacy and her arrest to buy cannabis for medicinal purposes.
During the coronavirus pandemic, the character stopped appearing regularly on the soap.
This was because Cherylee was forced to shield, and although she returned briefly, fans have not seen her appear too regularly since.

However, the character made a dramatic return as part of Beth Tinker’s (Lisa George) exit storyline.
After Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) joined the staff of the Underworld factory for the summer, she has teamed up with Beth in her counterfeit t-shirt side hustle.
Izzy has also mustered her way into the plan, but with disastrous consequences.
On tonight’s episode, she was called into Carla’s (Alison King) office, but she was relieved that it was only a chat about quality control.

But Carla then received a call about a surprise delivery of t-shirts after Kirk accidentally loaded the wrong box onto the van.
But rfans were distracted to see Izzy on-screen in the first place due to her irregular appearances on the Street.

Taking to X – formerly known as Twitter – one wrote: “Ah the lesser spotted Izzy spotted for her monthly lines.”
A second fan claimed: “Izzy has made two appearances in the same month,” as they also posted a shocked GIF.
“Izzy is most pointless character,” stated a third user.
As a fourth added: “‘For that reason, I’m out’? Why the heck does Izzy think she’s on Dragon’s Den all of a sudden?”
