Beth Tinker (Lisa George) may be set to cause trouble in her relationship again as a dashing

young Coronation Street local catches her eye in upcoming scenes.

Beth has been living happily ever after with Kirk Sutherland (Andy Whyment) for years now, although it

hasn’t always been plain sailing.

Last year, they hit a rough patch when Beth began secretly meeting up with ex-boyfriend Marco, after finding one of his letters in a memory box.

During one of their encounters, Marco leaned in to kiss her, making it clear he wanted them to try again. Though Beth was with Kirk, she decided to meet with him again.

When poor Kirky caught wind of what was going on, he promptly ended things.

Since then the pair have rekindled their relationship, though Beth is set to play with fire in upcoming scenes when she gets chatting to newcomer Kit Green (Jacob Roberts).

Beth can’t hold back her flirtation as she strikes up a conversation with the detective, but she is soon left stunned when he drops a huge bombshell.

When Kit admits that he is Bernie Winter’s (Jane Hazlegrove) son and Paul Foreman and Gemma Winter’s brother (Peter Ash and Dolly-Rose Campbell), how will Beth respond?

Beth isn’t the only person set to discover the truth about Kit’s family tree, as he soon reveals all to Paul and Gemma, behind Bernie’s back.

‘He wants to tell Gemma and Paul his version of events,’ actor Jacob Roberts revealed. ‘He wants them to know how their mum abandoned him and kept his existence from them.

‘He is determined to make it clear how they all missed out and really make it clear how selfish he feels she was. He does get some pleasure about doing it behind her back. He wants to hurt her like she hurt him.’

With Kit dropping bombshells on his twin siblings and flirting with Beth, how many families could he be set to tear apart?
