Explosive returns, emotional reunions and a shocking shooting rock Walford in a week that changes everything

There’s no shortage of drama in EastEnders next week as a long-awaited wedding finally goes ahead, a beloved character makes a jaw-dropping return, and a life-threatening incident leaves Albert Square reeling. From secrets to reunions and a mystery gun, it’s a week that no one in Walford will forget.

Monday 1st September

It’s the day of Patrick and Yolande’s wedding, but Patrick is still refusing to go through with the ceremony. Undeterred, Yolande is inspired by Denzel’s optimism and remains determined to make the day happen.

While Patrick holds firm, Kim and Denise throw themselves into putting the final plans in place, hoping for a miracle.

As guests start to gather with no sign of the bride or groom, Kim and Denise brace themselves for disappointment, until, to everyone’s delight, the couple arrive hand-in-hand and the wedding goes ahead as planned.

Meanwhile, Kat is beside herself with worry as she desperately searches for Tommy, unaware that he’s gone looking for Zoe. She and Alfie do everything they can to track him down, fearing the worst.

When Kat receives a message saying Tommy is outside, she rushes to find him. But nothing prepares her for what’s waiting. As she hears Tommy’s voice, she looks up to see a shocking sight: Zoe Slater is back in Walford.

Elsewhere, Jack is left horrified when Oscar reveals he’s found a gun.

Tuesday 2nd September

It’s the reunion fans have waited years for as Kat comes face-to-face with Zoe for the first time in years. Kat is desperate for answers and a proper conversation, but old wounds run deep, and Zoe is no longer the same person who left Albert Square all those years ago.

With so much history between them, their reunion is anything but straightforward.

Meanwhile, Oscar pleads with Jack to help him get rid of the gun, but neither of them realises that Ravi has overheard everything.

Determined to recover the weapon, Ravi breaks into No. 27 in an attempt to take it back. However, Denise spots him sneaking away and wastes no time telling Jack. Putting the pieces together, Jack realises exactly why Ravi was there, and heads straight to confront him.

Over at The Vic, Howie is overwhelmed with guilt as he struggles to come to terms with his part in Patrick’s earlier attack and the missing money.

Wednesday 3rd September

Shockwaves hit the Square when news spreads that a gunshot has been fired. With many residents still celebrating at Patrick and Yolande’s wedding reception at The Vic, panic sets in.

As word spreads about who’s been caught in the crossfire, it becomes clear that someone’s life is hanging in the balance, but whose?

Thursday 4th September

The fallout continues as more details emerge about Zoe’s time away from Walford. While some questions are answered, others only raise more concerns, and Zoe’s return is already making waves that could change everything.
