Another week, another boat-load of drama for the residents of Coronation Street as tempers flare, secrets are unearthed and the path of true love, of course, never runs smoothly.
Theo Silverton’s (James Cartwright) spiral reaches new depths as his temper continues to get the better of him and both Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) and Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) find themselves the target of his ire.
Meanwhile, Carla Connor (Alison King) continues to plan her proposal to DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers), Tracy Barlow’s (Kate Ford) acid-tongue could blow up the lives of several people and Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) and Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) fall further under the influence of shady Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard).
Nobody likes to wait, do they? And luckily for readers, you don’t have to! The tea is served.
Monday, September 1

Todd tries to soothe a stressed Theo before his mediation appointment with Danielle Silverton (Natalie Anderson) and promises him that he’ll no longer see or speak to Billy.
Theo’s bliss is short lived, however, when he realises that Noah Hedley (Richard Winsor) is present at mediation and the entire meeting goes to hell as all sides fire insults.
Returning home to an empty house and upon hearing that Todd is in the Rovers with Billy (the Billy he promised he wouldn’t see again), Theo seeks solace in a bottle of brandy.

After Carl initiates Brody and Dylan into his car stealing racket, he’s threatened by Tracy who wants her hush money.
As Tracey’s toxic tongue turns to Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell), she runs afoul of a furious Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) who’s overheard their conversation.
Has Tracey revealed too much?

Carla asks Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) for her permission to marry Lisa and the two decorate the garden in anticipation of the proposal. Will this time prove to be successful?
Elsewhere on the street, Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) is concerned as Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) plans to attend the funeral of the patient she couldn’t save on her last shift, and George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) finds himself the object of desire for both Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) and Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins), who’re pining for his attention.

Lisa finds out from Betsy about the bungled proposal and reveals that she has plans of her own, though before she can initiate them, she unknowingly lights a fire in Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) when she mentions Tia Wardley in relation to Logan Radcliffe (Harry Lowbridge), he heads off to investigate, but what will he find?
Theo continues to spiral as Todd seeks solace from Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) regarding Theo’s intense bouts of anger.
When Theo sees a picture of Todd with Sarah on social media and Billy asks if he’s okay, he finds himself on the receiving end of Theo’s rage.

Also today, Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) asks brother James Bailey (Jason Callender) to mind Laila while she has a date with Ollie. James masks his disappointment, what else did he have planned?
Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) is on community duty when she first encourages Debbie to attend a dementia choir, and later warns brother George off Christina while revealing that Jenny fancies him, too!

Roy Cropper (David Neilson) is elated when Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) returns and invites herself to a dinner Roy had planned with Carla and Lisa.
The dinner is interrupted, however, by a woman who introduces herself as Tia Wardley, and knows they’ve been looking for her…
When Theo tells Billy that he’s going to seek therapy in order to combat his problems more effectively, Billy advises Todd to cut him some slack and inadvertently reveals Theo’s plan, though Theo misses the therapy session, instead opening up to Gary Windass (Mikey North).

As sparks fly between himself and Betsy, Brody and Dylan enact their plan to steal a high-end car.
After promising to make some serious money for Carl, the two are scuppered and caught in the act by James.

Also today, Debbie, excited to return to the dementia choir, launches a hostile takeover, insisting to the other singers that she’s exactly what they need to up their game.
