CORRIE’s Adam Rickitt has no problem getting his hands dirty if recent pics are anything to go by.

The TV star, who rose to fame as Nick Tilsley in the ITV soap from 1997-1999 and 2002-2004, has been pictured graftin

at the bar and bottle shop he owns with his wife.

The soap star was seen lifting heavy boxes to take into Dexter & Jones in Knutsford, Cheshire.

The bar and shop offers craft beer, artisan gin and fine wines, as well as serving coffee and cakes.

Customers can also order drinks to take home.

And the actor seemed happy to be working hard for what the couple call their ‘passion project.’

The actor’s wife is an ITV presenter and journalist, with the couple meeting when she interviewed him in 2011.

Adam admitted it was ‘love at first sight’ with the couple going on to marry in 2014 before opening their much-loved business together.

Alongside Coronation Street, the soap star has appeared in the BBC medical soap opera Doctors and the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks.

He also acted in film, on stage, and hosted events.

He originally left Coronation Street in 1999 to start a music career, signing a six-album deal with Polydor Records.

He only released one album – Good Times (1999) with his first single, ‘I Breathe Again’, reaching number five in the UK and certified silver by BPI (The British Phonographic Industry).

He was also a member of the English supergroup 5th Story consisting of 1990s-early 2000s pop stars Dane Bowers, Gareth Gates and Kavana.

The singer appeared on ITV’s The Big Reunion in 2014 that saw chart topping bands reunite once more and won a Palm d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival for his role in the movie Emergency Exit.

Earlier this year he stunned fans as he stripped naked to celebrate turning 46.

In pictures taken by his wife, the Nineties heart-throb posed for several pictures in the buff, baring all while the couple were on holiday in Sicily.

Posting the images on his Instagram in September he captioned the shots with: “That time…I apologise… #NationalButtShotDay

“Although can’t show the arse because it gets blocked!!! How rude!

“…46 now…pickled inside…tanned outside! #Jobdone.”

Fans were quick to comment with one saying: “Are you recreating Breathe Again 24?”

Another said: “Looks amazing show it off!” while his wife said: “You have a great photographer x.”
