1. Paddy has a plan

Bear goes missing, leaving Paddy distraught as he searches all night for him. Things get worse when DS Walsh reminds Paddy that Bear has breached his bail conditions and he’ll be arrested when he’s found.

Paddy later finds Bear grieving beside Anya’s empty grave site and decides to pay for his dad to stay in a secure mental health unit to avoid prison. Will his plan keep the police at bay?

2. Joe adds to Cain’s despair

As Cain struggles to look after the farm and the kids, Joe piles on the pressure by arranging a herd inspection for TB.

Later, Joe stresses his desire to buy the farm. Matty reiterates how important it is to keep Butler’s going for Moira’s sake, but Cain can’t help but think the farm is doomed…

3. Jacob is furious with Sarah

Although Cain refuses to steal any more cars with Sarah, she can’t help herself when she spies a sports car in the village.

Just as she’s about to speed off, Jacob catches her out and demands answers, revealing it’s his boss’s car.

Jacob reminds Sarah that he could lose his job and demands to know what’s going on. He’s hurt when she won’t tell him.

4. Liam supports Cain

Both Jacob and Charity lay into Cain for getting Sarah to nick cars but he insists on keeping his cancer secret.

With the family furious and confused, Liam gently advises him to be honest with everyone and points out that his family’s support is crucial.

5. Sarah gives Cain a wake-up call

Cain’s secret is causing more problems between Sarah and Jacob. She seeks out her granddad to tell him she’s fed up with being the only one who knows and calls him a coward.

With pressure from all angles, even Graham advises him to sell up. Will he give in?

6. Laurel worries her friends

When Laurel experiences dizzy spells, Nicola and Gabby are concerned there’s more to her apparent blackout.

Laurel sticks to her story and keeps Arthur out of trouble. But will a private chat with Manpreet uncover the truth about Arthur’s outburst?

7. Jacob has an awkward encounter
