1. David fears for Lily’s safety
Lily reveals that a strange man in the precinct gave her a note to pass onto David.
The message is from Harvey, warning David that he expects an extra £10,000 in interest following his failure to repay the debt. David and Shona panic over Harvey’s messenger being able to identify Lily so easily.
2. David’s dog is next to be targeted
Michael visits the Platt house and reveals that he found David the dog injured at the side of the road. The family’s pet has seemingly been run over and they guess that it was on Harvey’s orders.
Later, David supplies himself with a hammer and baseball bat as he prepares for the likelihood of having to protect his family from thugs.
3. Daisy and Daniel arrange a DNA test
Daniel tells Daisy that he wants confirmation over whether he’s the father of her unborn baby or not. Daisy agrees to book a DNA test for that day, but she insists on Daniel coming with her.
Later, Daniel returns home and doesn’t tell Bethany where he’s been all day. He soon gets a shock of his own when Bethany reveals that she has accepted the job in London and wants him to agree to a trial move.
4. Daisy’s jealousy boils over
During a trip to The Rovers for a lunchtime quiz event, Bethany stumbles across Daisy’s positive pregnancy test. She assumes that Kit is the father, so wishes Daisy well.
Daisy struggles to see Daniel and Bethany appearing loved-up together. The couple reveal their plans to move to London and they also share the news that they’ve set a date for their wedding.
Unable to take any more, Daisy sees red – but what will she do?
5. Daisy is rushed back to hospital
Jenny is concerned as she finds Daisy in pain in the back room at The Rovers. She takes Daisy back to hospital for a check-up.
When Kit turns up, Daisy invites him to stay for the scan.
6. Sarah confronts Daisy
With secrets and lies now out in the open, Bethany tells Sarah that she’s going ahead with the move to London. Sarah and Daniel help Bethany to move her belongings out of the builder’s yard flat, but they’re interrupted when Daisy walks past.
Furious with Daisy, Sarah accuses her of destroying Bethany’s relationship with her recent actions.
7. Daisy drops a bombshell
Daisy receives the result of the DNA test in an online message.
Although Daisy reads the outcome, she then deletes the message and tells Jenny that the result is irrelevant and will be kept a secret. Jenny is shocked by how Daisy is handling the situation.
8. Cassie is caught out
Cassie continues to take advantage of Ken by seizing an opportunity to “borrow” his credit card.
Daniel warns Ken that Cassie isn’t to be trusted, as she was spotted slipping something into his drink and asked Bertie to lie about it. Ken confronts Cassie with the allegations that she’s drugging him, but will she come clean?
9. Lauren’s trial goes from bad to worse
Roy gives evidence at Lauren’s trial, providing a positive assessment of her character.
Sadly, the moment is ruined when former inmate Brie makes a scene in the public gallery, falsely claiming that Lauren attacked her in prison. Lauren denies it, but the damage may have already been done.
Things get worse when Lauren’s barrister informs her that Frankie has become unwell again and is back in hospital. Frustrated that she can’t be at her son’s side, Lauren tells the prosecution barrister that she’s glad Joel is dead.
10. Lauren is reunited with Frankie
Lauren heads to the hospital after her latest day in court, with Max providing moral support. She admits that she now fully expects to receive a prison sentence as she messed up by losing her temper in court.
Despite this, Lauren adds that she no longer cares about the trial outcome because her main focus is making sure that Frankie gets better.
11. Lauren’s verdict is revealed
Later in the week, the moment of truth arrives as the jury retires to consider a verdict. Dee-Dee later reveals that the jurors are struggling to reach an agreement, which Lauren fears could be a bad sign.
In the end, Lauren is informed that a decision has been made and she returns to court to hear her fate. Will she be found guilty or not guilty?
12. Abi continues to push Toyah away
Toyah overhears a conversation between Roy and Kevin regarding Abi’s recent hallucinations. Abi plays down the situation to Kevin, insisting that Roy has misinterpreted things.
Toyah steps in and suggests that Abi should see a grief counsellor, but Abi accuses Toyah of playing games because she wants to steal Alfie. New allies Leanne and Tracy watch the row unfold and they’re pleased to see Toyah in the firing line.
13. Leanne tries to make amends
Leanne tries to make up the mistakes she made last year by giving Amy a cheque for £12,000. She explains that it’s from the compensation money she received after Les’s recent death.
Leanne offers up the cash as part repayment for the money that The Institute stole from Amy. How will Amy respond?
14. Leanne’s drunken behaviour causes a stir
Leanne is intrigued to see Debbie storm out of the Bistro following an argument with Ronnie. She swoops in to sit with Ronnie and starts drunkenly flirting with him.
Leanne enjoys letting loose but is mortified when she realises that Sam has entered the Bistro and has witnessed everything.
15. Leanne appears in court
Leanne runs late for court, where she’s due to face the music over her recent fraud case. Her morning gets worse when Debbie drives through a puddle and leaves her soaked.
Toyah steps in and is concerned to see Leanne looking so dishevelled. Taking pity on her sister, she insists on giving her a lift to the court building.
Later, Leanne returns home with the news that she received a community order. She harshly rejects Toyah once again, insisting that they should have nothing more to do with each other.
Tracy stirs things up further by reminding Leanne that Toyah “stole” her partner Nick and is currently living in her flat with all of her things in it. Will Leanne be inspired to continue the feud?
16. Carla is discharged
As Carla has made some improvement with her condition, she returns home from hospital for the first time since New Year.
Caring Lisa promises to look after Carla while they await news on her transplant.
