Next week on Coronation Street, Dee-Dee makes a huge decision about her baby’s future after a difficult birth, while Daisy enlists Christina’s help to get revenge on Jenny.

Meanwhile, the ongoing feud between Mick and Ronnie escalates after Debbie is found lying in the ginnel.

1. Dee-Dee’s pains are downplayed

It’s the day of Frankie’s stem cell transplant and Dee-Dee offers Lauren support at the hospital.

When Dee-Dee starts suffering pains, the midwife at the hospital tells her to go home and rest. On the midwife’s advice, Dee-Dee heads home but back at the flat, her waters break.

Dee-Dee is rushed to the hospital in pain, and Ed tries to find her some assistance. When a midwife makes an inappropriate comment, Ed and Alya are shocked.

2. Dee-Dee receives bad news

Dee-Dee is diagnosed with pre-eclampsia by her doctor and is told that the baby has to be delivered immediately.

In the aftermath of the birth, Dee-Dee’s family are relieved when they are allowed to see her. However, when James decides that he would like to name the baby Laila, Dee-Dee is visibly upset.

Alone with Ed, Dee-Dee explains that she had to have an emergency hysterectomy and won’t be able to have any more children.

3. Dee-Dee makes a huge decision about her future

Ed pleads with Dee-Dee to think carefully about giving up Laila. After hearing Dee-Dee’s news, James realises she may change her mind and awaits her decision.

Meanwhile, Lauren visits Dee-Dee to tell her that Frankie’s operation has been a success but is taken aback by Dee-Dee’s reaction.

Later, Dee-Dee comes to a decision just as James receives a text message that complicates the situation further.

4. Alya offers to help Dee-Dee get justice

Dee-Dee prepares to leave the hospital, but she’s surprised to see that Ed has brought Laila along to pick her up. Dee-Dee receives another shock when Ed explains why he’s looking after Laila.

Later, Alya and Sarah pay Dee-Dee a visit, and Dee-Dee fills them in on her terrible experience at the hospital. Alya offers to get the ball rolling and help Dee-Dee make a formal complaint of gross negligence.

5. Daisy struggles to forgive Jenny

In the aftermath of Bertie’s drowning scare, Daisy tells Daniel that Jenny has gone too far this time.

Meanwhile, Daisy makes out she’s surprised when Christina shows up at The Rovers and wastes no time in making her presence felt.

Jenny tries to reconcile with Daisy, but Daisy confesses that she’s not sure she can ever forgive Jenny for the things she said.

6. Daisy and Christina catfish Jenny

Jenny excitedly tells everyone about Dom, a new guy she’s started chatting with on a dating app – unaware she’s being catfished by Daisy and Christina.

Delighted that their plan is working perfectly, the pair arrange for a delivery of flowers for Jenny. As they continue to reel Jenny in, Daisy begins to worry that Jenny will soon want to arrange a meeting with Dom.

7. Debbie has another clash with Mick

Debbie offers to look after Alfie in order for Kevin to get some rest. However, the peace is shattered by loud music coming from Mick’s house.

Ronnie arrives and is concerned to find Alfie alone in the living room and the back door open. He discovers Debbie lying in the ginnel, dazed and confused. Is Mick responsible?

8. Ronnie gets revenge on Mick

Following the incident, Mick continues to goad Ronnie. Ronnie’s temper gets the better of him and he slashes a tyre on Mick’s van, unaware that Debbie is watching.

Ronnie realises his plan has backfired when Mick confronts him and insists that he wants to be repaid for the damage to his van – having caught Ronnie on camera.

9. Kevin and Tyrone clash over their kids

Kevin learns that Jack got in trouble for fighting at school and bans him from attending the end of term party. However, during his chemo session, Kevin admits to Abi that he may have overreacted.

Meanwhile, Jack and Hope pay for two escooters using Kevin’s credit card and start sharing a bottle of alcohol Hope has stashed in her bag. It isn’t long until the pair are caught by Craig and Jess, closely followed by Kevin and Tyrone.

Later, Kevin and Tyrone get into a heated argument over whose kid is leading the other one astray.

10. Theo gives Todd mixed signals

Theo arrives at Number 11 after arranging to meet Todd but it’s clear he’s feeling uneasy. He apologises to Todd for his secrecy, and after sharing a few drinks, begins to relax.

When Theo confesses his attraction to Todd, the pair kiss and spend the afternoon in bed.

However, Theo’s mood quickly changes, and he admits that his life is complicated. When Theo hears George, Eileen and Julie returning, he makes a hasty exit out the back door.

Later, Todd is disappointed when Theo tells him that their afternoon together was a one off.

11. Chesney grows wary of Mick

Gemma and Chesney are over the moon when Mick and Lou offer them their old TV and the use of their roof box for their upcoming trip with the kids. Ronnie notices the growing friendship between the two couples and warns Chesney that Mick isn’t what he seems.

Having had a rethink about his friendship with Mick, Chesney’s heart sinks when Mick invites him for a drink – and struggles to hide his anxiety when they meet at the Rovers.

Later, Chesney and Gemma’s night in is interrupted by the arrival of Mick and Lou with beers and snacks.

12. Kevin and Julie bond

When Alfie is ill at nursery, Abi is forced to leave Kevin alone during his chemo session.

Julie bumps into Kevin outside the hospital and can tell he’s feeling anxious. Kevin is touched when she suggests they travel home together.

Meanwhile, Abi is worried when she can’t get through to Kevin and is annoyed to learn he was with Julie and didn’t tell her.

13. Steve is caught out by Cassie

Cassie confides in Evelyn about her feelings for Steve but admits that he wants nothing more to do with her.

Meanwhile, Steve tells Amy that he regrets reigniting his fling with Cassie and was a fool to sleep with her again. Cassie overhears his confession and is furious.
