Next week on EastEnders, Martin gets the shock of his life when Ruby makes a dramatic return, George

and Elaine’s wedding plans hit a snag, and Lauren gets some news she was not expecting.

Here are 11 spoilers to look forward to.

1. Martin gets a shock

Sharon has kept the truth about Martin having a child secret since learning the details from Chrissie, but next week sees her reveal the news – and there is plenty more drama to come for Martin.

Martin tries to process having a child that he knew nothing about, and refuses to fully believe it until he sees a birth certificate. However, he is soon greeted with another shock – Ruby is back in Walford and she is not happy.

2. Elaine and George celebrate

As their wedding grows closer, Elaine and George both celebrate with their respective stag and hen dos. However, things don’t get off to the best start for Elaine when Anna persuades her to invite Cindy along for the celebrations.

Johnny, meanwhile, has a plan of his own when he teases a surprise arrival that turns out to be a drag queen. But Elaine’s reaction is not what he was expecting when she looks horrified at what he has done.

3. Lauren needs help

Lauren has not been feeling well of late, and as her pain worsens, so does her mood. She lashes out at both Peter and Louie, before realising that she should seek help to work out what the problem is.

After a visit to the GP where she is advised to reduce her pain medication, she has a chat with Anna which leads her to wonder whether she might be pregnant. She does a test which comes back as positive – but how will Lauren react to the news that she is having another baby?

4. Ruby causes trouble

Ruby returns and is on the warpath with Martin for breaking into her house even though he didn’t. And when Sharon corrects her, little time is wasted before Martin demands the truth – do they have a son?

Sure enough, Ruby confirms that they do indeed have a child together, and Martin is furious that the news was kept from him. Ruby also has a major blow out with Stacey, but that leads to even more shocking news – what is Ruby hiding now?

5. Elaine has a secret

Following her unexpected reaction to the arrival of a drag queen at her hen do, Elaine has some explaining to do about what caused her to respond so badly.

While initially trying to avoid an explanation, Linda refuses to let her stay quiet and eventually she is able to persuade her to reveal a secret that she has kept hidden from her for years – and Linda is set to be left stunned.

6. Walford fights for the market

The Bridge Street market, a staple of Albert Square for decades, is under threat of closure – and the residents are not going to let it go without putting up a fight.

Mr Lister joins the cause next week and vows to help the community, and he seems more than a little happy when he gets a hug from Honey. Will the market remain, or could things be looking very different on the Square in the near future?

7. Elaine wants a pre-nup

Johnny agrees to look into it for her, but what is it that has led to her making this decision, and will George be understanding when he finds out he will have to sign it if he wants to marry her?

9. George is not happy

While Elaine is busy organising the prenup alongside Johnny, an oblivious George remains excited for the wedding and surprises Elaine with a present to show how much he loves her.

While telling her how much he is looking forward to becoming her husband, his mood soon changes for the worst when she chooses that moment to tell him about the prenup. Will George come to understand her reasoning, or is this wedding doomed to not go ahead?

10. Jean gets an offer

Jean has some money in the bank, and she gets what appears to be an opportunity to make even more when she gets a phone call from a company that encourages her to invest it.

While unsure, Jean spends some time thinking it over and soon comes to a decision. Will Jean invest her money, or will she come to a choice that she may end up regretting?

11. Cindy has words with Junior

Things remain as complicated as ever for Cindy, and she was rattled when she saw Junior get into an argument with a very drunk Ian at George’s stag do earlier in the week.

Growing more concerned that her secret may come out, Cindy loses her temper with Junior and warns him not to cause any more trouble for her. But will he listen, or is Ian on the verge of finding out that Cindy has cheated on him yet again?
