1. Emmerdale’s Ross Barton gets a new brother

Emmerdale newcomer Bradley Riches shocked fans this week with the big news that he’s playing a member of the Barton family.
The Heartstopper and Celebrity Big Brother star revealed that he’s landed the role of Lewis Barton, who comes to the village to track down his long-lost brother Ross.
“I came to Leeds for a meeting for a different character: Dylan, who is in April’s storyline. But then the schedule didn’t work, and I thought I’d missed the opportunity,” Bradley told Attitude magazine.
“I felt like it was meant to be. The personality of the character fits me so much better.”

2. Coronation Street to air Daisy Midgeley’s exit

Coronation Street has confirmed that Daisy Midgeley’s final scenes will air next Friday (2 May).
While the exact details are still being kept under wraps, show bosses have revealed that Daisy bows out in “a dramatic and emotionally charged storyline”.
Charlotte Jordan, who plays Daisy, recently said: “I think it’s very bittersweet for Daisy to be leaving.
“Weatherfield has been her home for a while now and, early on, was giving her all the things she wanted – family, community, stability, people to love more than she perhaps loves herself – but it’s also been the source of so much trauma for her.”

3. Coronation Street’s Gary returns to screens for new storyline

Coronation Street fans have been getting curious over the whereabouts of Gary Windass, as he hasn’t featured on screen since January.
