Once the party starts, Lauren feels consumed with worry. To make matters worse, Ian makes a thoughtless comment which provokes the pregnant mum to take time out in the office.
Luckily, Kathy steps up for her grandson’s girlfriend and convinces her to rejoin the party – but everything changes when Cindy turns up at the door…
4. Harry struggles to cope

At The Arches, Harry wakes up with a nasty hangover. Afterwards, Billy spots his struggling nephew and brings him to Walford East for a chat.
The outing takes a turn for worse though, when Teddy arrives at the restaurant.
Later, Billy tries to make amends with Harry while in the café. How will the Mitchell family cope with their inner turmoil?
5. Ross causes upset

Having settled in Walford, Vicki and Ross decide that it’s time that they both find a job. However, it becomes clear that Ross is more preoccupied with Joel’s fixation with his phone than on the job search.
Vicki is quick to recognise that her boyfriend is unhappy and tries to calm the situation. Regrettably, this only serves to irritate Ross more, and he declares that he doesn’t need parenting help.

In response, Vicki leaves the room, but the pair reconcile later in the day.

6. Gina grows suspicious

In an attempt to find Harry, Nicola stops Gina in her tracks while out on the Square.
Afterwards, Gina meets up with Jay for a drink, but their outing is interrupted when Harry arrives under the influence of alcohol.
Worried, Jay informs Nicola and Teddy about the state of their eldest son, and the parents work together to resolve things.
However, their efforts don’t go unnoticed by Gina, who becomes convinced that there is more to the situation than the family are making out.
Not one to keep quiet, the bartender presses Harry for answers at the next available opportunity, but the Mitchell man refuses to budge.
7. Harvey extends an invite

At the Slater family home, Kathy leans on Harvey for support. The one-to-one doesn’t last for long though, as Jean interrupts the conversation.
Panicked, Kathy comes up with a cover story, but Jean is more bothered about Nigel than her partner’s business.

Later, Harvey invites Kathy to join him on a caravan trip, but Jean discovers the brochure before the clandestine pair can head off into the sunset.

8. Lauren goes into labour

Following Cindy’s dramatic return, the party guests at Harry’s Barn are left stunned. Peter steps in to try and settle things down, but Lauren has no intentions of playing happy families.
After leaving the venue, the mum-of-one demands that Peter choose either her or Cindy.
As a result, the Beale family shun Cindy yet again, but the feisty business lady fights back by revealing the truth about Kathy.
Subsequently, Cindy heads out to visit Lauren, but she arrives to find that her son’s fiancée in labour.
Later in the week, Cindy takes action when she realises that the ambulance for Lauren is delayed, while Chelsea informs Peter about his girlfriend’s condition.
9. Vicki stands her ground

In a moment of honesty, Ross comes clean to Vicki about their debt and the real reason that they had to flee Australia. The unexpected news shocks Vicki, and she leaves Ross to stew over his confession.
The next day, Ross extends an olive branch to his partner, but Vicki makes it clear that she’s not prepared to forgive and forget that easily.
Could it be over for the couple?
10. The Vic reopens

On the eightieth anniversary of V.E. day, Nigel feels excited to celebrate the important milestone. But unfortunately, it soon becomes clear that he believes that he is living in the year 1995.
Meanwhile, Jean and Phil ready themselves to have a word with Nigel, but Jean fails to go through with her plan. Instead, the Slater lady asks Phil to help her throw a last-minute party.
Thereafter, Jean convinces Big Mo to celebrate with her, but Linda remains adamant that The Vic is closed for now. However, the Carter matriarch changes her mind once she spots the market traders revelling in community spirit.
In the following scenes, Walford residents come together to pay tribute to their fallen neighbours, including the late Martin Fowler.
