1. Nicola stirs up trouble
While Nicola is excited in the lead-up to the launch of Harry’s Barn, Teddy and Sharon have decided to officially give things a go – and this certainly takes the wind out of Nicola’s sails.
Nicola immediately begins plotting against them, and her plan involves bringing in Phil to help break the new couple up. When her initial plan fails to work, she decides not to give up and heads over to Number 55 to try again with Phil – but she instead gets a shock when she walks into his house.
2. Linda continues to spiral
Linda’s addiction to alcohol has only gotten worse as 2024 has gone on, and things look set to deteriorate further when her family begin to wonder if there is anything that they can do to help her.
When Johnny is filled in about how badly Linda has been acting, and witnesses her making a scene at The Vic, he tries talking to her. But Linda is not in the mood to listen and the chat ends with her gathering her things and heading for Sharon’s – and things are only set to get worse for Linda from here.
3. The calendar shoot approaches
Mo always seems to be up to something, and that is no different next week when she ploughs ahead with her plans for a saucy Christmas calendar – but is everything as on the level as she would like people to believe?
With Kim on board to help handle the PR for the event, models lined up, and Nicola agreeing to be the sponsor, all looks to be going smoothly. There may, however, be a sting in the tale that Mo would have liked to avoid…
4. Nicola’s schemes continue
Phil is not happy about Nicola walking into his home. He is quick to order her out of the house – seemingly scuppering her plans to get his help breaking up Teddy and Sharon.
After promising to keep Phil’s secret, she proceeds to tell Sharon anyway, but Phil is able to cover his tracks.
Nicola is determined to get Teddy back and makes that clear to him, while insisting she has changed. Will Nicola get her own way?

5. Linda hits another low
Linda is hoping that she will be left to her own devices while staying at Sharon’s, but she soon learns that is not the case when Sharon makes it clear that she needs to stop drinking.
Linda’s frustration grows when Alfie refuses to sell her alcohol at the Minute Mart, leading to her taking it anyway. But things take a turn when it turns out she left Sharon’s without locking up, and that has led to her house being robbed.
6. Ian is full of festive cheer
Christmas approaches in Walford and Ian, blissfully unaware of the troubles brewing around him with Cindy, is really in the mood to celebrate this year.
With Beale’s Eels Santa float being prepared, the family are all presented with their very own Christmas outfits to wear for the occasion. But will Ian’s good mood last until the big day, or will things fall apart for him before Christmas Day arrives?
7. Phil’s problems continue to worsen
Nicola’s calculated ways have not gone unnoticed by Sharon, and she makes sure Phil knows exactly what she has been up to.
As everyone gathers to celebrate the success of the bar launch, Phil is unable to shake his feeling of isolation – and Jay notices that things are not quite right with him.
While Phil attempts to brush Jay’s concerns aside, Jay remains convinced that he needs help. But will Phil listen?
8. Elaine returns to a shock
Elaine is back from her honeymoon, but she barely has time to unpack before she is faced with the realisation of just how far Linda has fallen.
It soon becomes clear that the situation is far too serious to be resolved with a chat, and that leads to Elaine issuing her daughter a stern ultimatum. But that move could end up being what pushes Linda completely over the edge…
9. Martin and Ruby clash
Things remain tense between Martin and Ruby following the discovery of his secret son, and there are more arguments on the way for them next week.
Martin is turned away from the hospital at Ruby’s request, but she has to see him when their child’s condition takes a turn.
Any chance of the two uniting seems slim when Martin lashes out. He later tries to apologise, but will the pair be able to get on the same page?
10. Lauren causes concerns
Lauren’s behaviour continues to cause concerns, and Peter’s attempts to get to the bottom of it fall flat when she insists that her mood is just down to the pregnancy.
The family remain unconvinced however, particularly when she snaps at Kathy, but when Lauren feels the baby kick for the first time, she gets the sign she needs to change her ways. But will she be able to stick to it?
