EastEnders spoilers follow for Wednesday’s (February 25) episode which is now available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
A broken Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) sparked a desperate situation in as his mental health continues to spiral.
The Walford local recently started self-harming after realising he was responsible for the recent attack on his teenage son Nugget Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) while high, after a vengeful Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) and his mum Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) drugged him.
Ravi has also been struggling with becoming a police informant, after striking a deal with local copper Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) to keep him out of prison over his cuckooing plot involving Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) and Harry.
With the recently returned Mark Fowler Jr (Stephen Aaron-Sipple) also on a mission to find out who is ratting out their mutual criminal associates, the pressure got too much for Ravi to take.

Earlier this week, Ravi decided to apply for a job at the car lot. After he got ready for his interview with Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa), it turned out that her father Max Branning (Jake Wood) was conducting the chat instead – and things did not go to plan.
With his ego further bruised after a comment from his partner Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan-Levy), Ravi’s mood lowered even further.
Having recently lost his Walford East restaurant business, he’s still in desperate need of cash, and when Mark offered him a last-minute job, he agreed to take it on.

However, when Nugget – who was recently diagnosed with epilepsy following his attack – had another seizure, Ravi missed the meet-up, risking consequences from the gang.
Priya, meanwhile, was also furious with him for forgetting to pick up their son’s meds, so he rushed to the pharmacy with Nugget in tow – but when the pharmacist has a problem with dispensing the prescription, it proves to be a huge trigger for Ravi, who locks the door and insists nobody is leaving.
Nugget pleaded with his dad to leave when he was confronting the pharmacist so he was left reeling when he saw him lock the doors.
Denise Fox (Diane Parish) and Bea Pollard (Ronni Ancona) were also caught up in an unfolding situation, and they grew increasingly alarmed when Ravi escalates things further amid his mental anguish.
With Ravi at absolute breaking point, will it be his ex-lover Denise who is finally able to get him to accept help?
