General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that fans were sure Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) couldn’t go any lower—then he did. What he did to Wiley (Viron Weaver) borders on child abuse and now the audience has to be wondering if Drew is leaving the soap. Because honestly, can this character be rehabbed?

Is Cameron Mathison Leaving the Show?
Cameron Mathison’s character is becoming more unredeemable by the day. His behavior has been disturbing and he’s shown he will stop at nothing to get what he wants.

Let’s start with his affair with his nephew Michael Quartermaine’s (Rory Gibson) wife, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). That is ground zero for Drew taking a nosedive in fan popularity.

Michael is back after going to Europe for burn treatment and last week Millow’s divorce and custody hearing took center stage.

Who Will Get Willow’s Kids, Amelia and Wiley?

In court it was exposed that Michael had a one-night stand with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and the baby from that tryst was born in court!

Before this Drew told Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) loud enough for Wiley to hear, that Michael doesn’t want him now that he has a new baby.

Rightfully so, fans blasted Drew on socials with one writing “Why is Drew still breathing!?” That’s pretty harsh, but soap fans are legendarily loyal and vociferous.

Can Drew Stay?
What in the world happened to the former Navy SEAL? There was a time when he was a bleeding heart, based on his own troubled life. He would have helped anyone who needed it, and now he’s a mercenary on home soil.

Then again, this character has had many different iterations. One thing is certain, and that is that Monica Quartermaine (the late Leslie Charleson) would be heartbroken to know the extent of Drew’s depravity.

Will Mathison’s work with Hallmark cause him to depart GH? That’s a long shot since the actor has multitasked successfully for years. On another note, do you think that Erica Slezak has been cast as the new Monica Q?
