Victor and Urges Lily to Leave Immediately
(This day ahead recap episode airs in the USA on July 3. Expect spoilers! Recaps go live by 4:15 PM EST daily.)
At Chancellor, Chance glances at Billy’s new company logo and shrugs.
“It’s good,” he says. Billy, who was expecting a stronger reaction, mentions that Lily loves it. Chance then reconsiders his initial response.
CBS
She approved it, and Billy considers that a win.
Chance questions who exactly benefits from this win.
Will he and Lily be competing for victories or collaborating? Billy clarifies that he misspoke.
CBS
It’s a win for the company and calls him and Lily solid.
Chance is glad but surprised she stook around.
He thought she’d choose her family over this.
CBS
At Crimson Lights, Lily likens Devon to a broken record when he tells her to get out of Chancellor Winters.
He brings up Billy’s name and she shuts him down. She won’t let Billy ruin things.
Devon says that’s not what this is about. When Chancellor becomes vulnerable, she may not be able to fix things.
Lily begins to realize he knows something and asks what that is.
CBS
Devon says if Billy screws up, it could leave her open to someone sweeping in and picking up the pieces.
She asks if it’s hypothetical and he reveals someone is going after her company.
She wrongly assumes it’s Tucker. Devon says he’s gone underground.
Victor’s the threat. Devon fills her in on what the mustache told him.
He also tipped him off to tell Lily to get out of there before it goes down.
CBS
Lily admits to Devon she’s been playing Billy, pretending to go along with his grand schemes.
Devon says that was the original plan. Lily didn’t want Billy to clue in.
Devon’s right about Billy, she says.
He has grand ideas that won’t work but she can’t walk away from all she’s built.
To protect the company, she went along with everything he wanted.
CBS
They discuss why Victor would do this.
She knows Victor wouldn’t want to hurt her but if he gave her warning, she’d be fair game. Devon assumes this too is part of Victor’s plan.
Vic will expect her to tell Bily who will make an impulsive move and screw up.
Lily feels she’s a step ahead of the man and leaves the cafe.
CBS
Daniel meets Summer at Society. She accepts his apology for taking Kyle’s side.
Daniel is sorry but he’s not on Kyle’s side. Daniel just wants to ensure she’s thinking things through.
She calls him out for being patronizing and wants to leave.
Daniel begs her to stay.
CBS
He won’t give her unsolicited advice. He loves her and wants to help. She needs a house. One that looks good to a judge. “For Harrison too?” She says of course.
She wants him to have his own bedroom, not a suite at a hotel.
She wants to decorate and have his friends over. Daniel will help her look.
Summer’s invigorated and thinks they could win custody.
CBS
She updates him on her petition for sole custody and how she got an injunction to keep Kyle from taking her son to Paris.
She explains that Harrison is moving out of the house with Kyle and will be spending time with Claire “the magic nanny.” Daniel gets it. She wants stability but getting sole custody won’t be easy.
Summer knows. She doesn’t like that he won’t give her hope but Daniel points out that she can see Kyle’s a good father and the Abbott’s have deep contacts.
She reminds her brother that Victor’s her family. Daniel thinks she’ll invite a Newman-Abbott war.
Summer just wants to protect her son. “From what, a trip to Paris?” Daniel asks.
Summer feels slighted. She’s been supportive of him and tells him to keep his crappy support to himself from now on. She stomps out.
CBS
Sharon opens the door at the cottage to Nick. She seems surprised so Mariah reminds her they told her he was coming over.
Nick says they couldn’t find her and were worried.
He’s worried too and asks where she was.
Sharon was out getting some air and lost track of time.
CBS
He asks if she was alone and she flashes to the kiss they shared in her hallucination.
They’re all concerned. She calls herself distracted and knows it’ll pass.
Mariah says there’s more to it. She’s forgetting things and missing appointments.
Faith says the house was a disaster.
CBS
Sharon starts to say they’re making a big deal when she stops talking. “What was I saying?”
Faith tells her mom they love her and want her to open up.
Nick lets his ex know they’re not judging her. Sharon doesn’t know what’s going on with her.
He asks if she’s taking her meds.
CBS
She isn’t. She didn’t like how they were making her feel. “Dull, lethargic, lifeless.”
At first, she felt great when the meds were out of her system and then things got cloudy and confused.
CBS
She may have brought this on herself and now she scared all of them.
She apologizes. She felt like she was at her breaking point.
Nick knows going off the meds wasn’t a solution. She should have talked to her doctor.
They need to get her back on track. Sharon spaces out. She’s not sure she can.
Mariah says they’ll help. Sharon reveals, albeit reluctantly, she’s been seeing Cassie, like a dream that comes to life.
CBS
They can talk to each other like she’s there.
Everyone looks saddened and Faith blames herself.
CBS
She pushed Sharon to talk about Cassie.
Sharon says this isn’t her kid’s fault.
She thinks of Cassie all the time.
Mariah worries she sees Cassie when she looks at her.
CBS
She’s close to tears when Sharon tries to tell her it’s not her fault. She loves Mariah for who she is.
Sharon wonders if she went off her meds to see and feel Cassie the way she was but she’s not sure.
She has no answers. Nick thinks getting her meds sorted is the first step but she doesn’t think it’s enough.
She wants to get away, thinking it’ll help her heal.
CBS
Not a hospital but somewhere peaceful, though she says she’ll talk to her doctor about a clinic.
She has to deal with some work and things she’s been avoiding like Rey.
She misses him so much. Sharon doesn’t feel she grieved him properly, instead throwing herself into her work.
She did the same with Cameron and needs to live with the feelings for a while to make peace with them.
CBS
Mariah will fill in for her at Cassidy First and Sharon says she’ll wait until Faith’s gone to Europe.
Faith refuses to let her wait. Sharon hugs her kids, vowing to return better and stronger.
She’ll make an appointment with her doctor right now.
Everyone waits but she wants privacy so the family heads out for lunch.
Sharon will then look for places to go on her retreat.
Maybe Mexico or Sedona. Faith offers to come. Sharon says not this time.
CBS
Back at Chancellor, Lily tells Billy about her conversation with Devon about Victor. Billy thinks it’s BS.
Chance has to run and will check back later.
Billy tells Lily he knows Victor’s sniffing around but can’t do anything because Billy won’t give him an open.
CBS
He’s not afraid of the big bad wolf.
He stares at his phone until Lily asks if he’d rather be with Chelsea.
He’s waiting to hear when she’s bringing Connor home.
Lily thinks it’s easier for him to fixate on work because he can’t fix Chelsea. Billy denies that.
CBS
Chance meets Summer at Chancellor Park.
She rants about her talk with her brother and is wondering if she’s doing all of this for nothing.
Chance supports her and says she’s not.
CBS
Summer could use a hug from Harrison but he’s a summer camp.
Chance hugs her instead and tells her they’ll go get the car so they can have an escape.
CBS
At his hotel room, Chance massages Summer’s neck as they talk about tuning out all the noise.
She asks about his bad day but he wants to escape.
CBS
They start to kiss and fall back onto the bed.
They make love and afterward, Summer is still letting this consume her though Chance asks her not to.
She calls it important to her.
CBS
At Crimson Lights, Faith, Nick and Mariah have lunch while they discuss Sharon and how they’ll never forget what happened with Cassie.
Daniel watches uncomfortably.
CBS
Back at the cottage, Sharon’s online looking up something when she hears, “You can try and run from what’s happening, Sharon, but you can’t hide.”
Stunned, she slowly turns around and hallucinates Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) standing before her.
