Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) may let passion erupt behind Tate Black’s (Leo Howard) back. Will Holly surrender to this betrayal and hurt Tate in the process?

DOOL fans know Sophia Choi’s (Rachel Boyd) hospital crisis delayed Tate’s cabin arrival, which gave Doug a chance to spill his true feelings.

Doug was there to pick up a book for Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), so it was almost like fate led him to Holly.

As Doug got caught up in the moment, he admitted it was like his heart skipped a beat during his first Holly meeting.

Now Doug’s wishing he would’ve kept his mouth shut since he’s made things awkward, especially since Holly already has a boyfriend.

However, dating Tate comes with plenty of problems since Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) is carrying his baby.

Although Tate and Sophia are taking the adoption route, there’s no guarantee they’ll actually give their kid up in the end.

Sophia and Tate have already shared Days scenes where it seemed like they were feeling connected to this little one – especially Sophia since this baby’s growing inside her.

There may come a point when Tate and Sophia back out of giving their child away.

Regardless, Sophia and Tate will continue to bond over all the baby drama, so Holly will feel like an outsider.

Holly was on cloud nine when she slept with Tate for the first time, but reality will find ways to hit her hard as this storyline progresses.

Although Holly has assured Tate that he has nothing to worry about when it comes to Doug, it’s easy to see that Doug’s confession affected her.

That’s not something Holly can just erase from her brain, so she’ll be thinking about that confession a lot from now on.

Doug has already been mulling it over and fantasizing about Holly returning his feelings.

Days viewers will recall that Doug even dreamed up a kiss, so that might be a hint about what’s to come.

Sooner or later, Days spoilers suggest Tate and Sophia’s baby mess may push Holly over the edge.

Holly may go running into Doug’s arms and admit she feels the same way he does before planting a smooch on him.

That doesn’t necessarily mean Holly will dump Tate, but she could make this bold move behind his back and at least consider it.

Doug has made some big mistakes due to all the stolen necklace mayhem, but he’s still a less complicated path forward in many ways.

Will Holly confess her feelings at some point and lock lips with Doug? Will Doug’s fantasy become a reality down the road?

It’s even possible Holly will go as far as hitting the sheets with Doug, so that’s something to keep in mind!
