Coronation Street fans are certain an arrival is set to rock Lisa Swain and Carla Connor’s future, just as they move on as a couple following a year filled with drama so far.
Fans of the pair, nicknamed ‘Swarla’, will know that things haven’t been easy for the pair since they gave into their feelings for one another late last year.
Things seemed great when they marked the arrival of a new year together in the Rovers Return, but they’ve since faced a series of challenges.
They’ve dealt with Carla’s ill health and return of her murderer brother, Rob Donovan, as well as Lisa’s past late wife Becky, and teenage drama with daughter Betsy.
But in more positive news, Corrie viewers were recently delighted about the progression in their relationship as they prepare to move into their very first home together.
Lisa and Carla have this week been seeing going through their belongings, and new spoilers for next week in the long-running show having confirmed that Ryan Connor will be helping Carla and Lisa pack up the flat.
But while there are many theories of a proposal brewing, with Lisa’s therapy sessions ongoing, some Corrie fans are still predicting that her late partner, who died in the line of duty while being investigated for corruption, could end up making a shock appearance.
