After months of waiting, the Beth-and-Rip spinoff is finally real, official, and very close. Paramount+ has confirmed that the series is titled Dutton Ranch, and the first teaser dropped on March 23, 2026.
The show premieres on Friday, May 15, 2026, with the first two episodes launching that day. Season 1 will run for nine episodes, with new installments arriving weekly on Fridays. Paramount has also confirmed that the series will stream on Paramount+ and air on Paramount Network.
And the teaser makes one thing brutally clear: this is not some soft epilogue for Beth and Rip. It looks like war in a new zip code. Official first-look coverage shows that the story moves the Dutton energy to South Texas, where Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler are trying to build a new life after Yellowstone. But the teaser does not sell peace.
It opens with a dead body clawing out of dirt, then rolls into fists, guns, blood, and Beth-and-Rip chaos. Beth dryly says, “What a day,” and Rip answers, “Welcome to Texas.” That tells you everything about the tone right there.
The official setup is simple on paper and explosive in practice. Paramount says Beth and Rip are “striking out on their own” for a fresh start, with Carter coming with them.

But even in the polished synopsis, there is a warning: “serious distractions” will threaten their attempt to build that new future and help Carter become the man he is meant to be. So yes, they are leaving Montana behind — but no, the danger is not staying behind with it.
As for Episode 1, the only widely listed title right now is the most straightforward one possible: “Pilot.” That means Paramount is still keeping most of the first-hour specifics under wraps.
What we do know from the teaser and first-look rollout is that the premiere is built around the move to Texas, the pressure of starting over, and the immediate arrival of violence, rivals, and buried trouble. This is not Beth and Rip settling into domestic bliss. This is Beth and Rip bringing their storm with them.

The cast around them is stacked, and that is where things start to get even more interesting. Finn Little is back as Carter, while Annette Bening plays Beulah Jackson, described as the powerful, cunning, and charming head of a major Texas ranch.
Ed Harris joins as Everett McKinney, and Jai Courtney plays Rob-Will. The series also features Juan Pablo Raba as Joaquin, Marc Menchaca as Zachariah, J.R. Villarreal as Azul, and Natalie Alyn Lind as Oreana. First-look images already place Carter and Oreana together, hinting that his story is about to expand in a major way.
So here is the latest release schedule as it stands: Episodes 1 and 2 arrive May 15, and TV listings already show additional episodes following on May 22, May 29, June 5, June 12, June 19, and June 26, matching Paramount’s weekly-Friday rollout for the rest of the nine-episode season.
The wait is almost over. And if this teaser is telling the truth, Dutton Ranch is not trying to replace Yellowstone quietly. It is trying to come out swinging.
