Coronation Street‘s Chesney Brown has come to worrying realisation over Mick Michaelis.
Newcomers Mick and his wife Lou struck up a friendship with Chesney and his wife Gemma after moving to Weatherfield.
Back in December, Chesney put sugar in the fuel tank of a van that belonged to an unknown man who had been harassing him as part of his man in the van mystery storyline.
Unbeknown to Chesney, the van belonged to his new friend Mick, who is already aware it was Chesney who tampered with his van.
In tonight’s episode, Mick used this information to mess with Chesney by innocently bringing it up in conversation, causing Chesney to panic.

Gemma and Chesney’s friendship with Mick and Lou continued to grow as the new couple offered Gemma their old TV and the use of their roof box for their trip away with the kids.
After Mick continued to goad Ronnie, Ronnie warned Gemma and Chesney to watch their backs, telling them Mick isn’t all he seems. When Mick headed off, Ronnie slashed his van tyre — but Debbie was watching.
In The Rovers, Mick insisted he wanted to be paid for the work he’d done as well as the damage caused to his van, saying he knew it was Ronnie because he caught him on his van’s CCTV.

Afterwards, Mick confided in Chesney, saying the only reason he bought a dashcam was because a few months ago someone had put sugar in the tank which damaged the engine.
“I look after my own, me. Unless I’m crossed, that is,” he said, toying with Chesney. “To be fair if I hadn’t had a run in with some idiot a few months back I wouldn’t have got one in the first place.”
Back at home, a worried Chesney confided in Gemma that it was Mick’s van that he damaged with the sugar and the panicked pair swapped hopes he’d never find out.
