The controversial character escaped from prison in July, on a desperate mission to reunite with his family so they could go on the run together. His actions culminated in a showdown with Sally Metcalfe on the roof of Underworld, where she urged him to do the right thing for his young children.

Since being uploaded on the morning of 14 July, this episode has been viewed on YouTube 70,000 times – the most-watched full episode on there to date.

Dev Alahan and Bernie Winter’s wedding and Abi Webster’s affair with brother-in-law Carl have also been strong performers.
