Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) continues to deal with the challenges that come with his new relationship in Coronation Street soon, and they largely involve Theo’s (James Cartwright) family.
Recent scenes saw Todd learn that not only was newcomer Theo married, but he also had two children, and none of his family knew that he was actually gay.
However, wife Danielle Silverton (Natalie Anderson) walked in on Todd and Theo kissing, after accusing Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) of having an affair with her husband.
Following the shock, Theo drunkenly told Todd that things between them were over, and that he never wanted to see him again, before heading back to his car where Danielle was waiting.
In upcoming episodes, Todd receives a call from Danielle, who tells him that Theo has gone missing. He’s eventually found staggering through the street by Mick (Joe Layton), who picks an argument with him and shoves him against a wall.

In the week, Theo’s daughter, Millie, calls at the undertakers demanding some answers from her Dad, which makes Todd feel uneasy. Later on, he hears the car alarm on the hearse going off and finds the vehicle covered in paint.
Todd then learns that Millie vandalised the hearse. As she rails at him for ripping her family apart, Theo rushes in and leaps to Millie’s defence.
Both Todd and Theo are in the middle of a complicated situation right now, but what does the future hold for them?

‘I think it’s a very strong bond. It’s one of those times in life where it’s all in,’ James Cartwright explained. ‘I think it’s all in for him now, because his wife knows, his kids know. It’s Stalingrad. Those bridges are burned. So he’s moving forward.
‘They’re both sacrificing an enormous amount to make it work. Todd is taking all this baggage from this man. From Theo’s point of view, he’s lost his family, he’s getting mocked on the scaffolding site and all these different things.
‘So they’re all in, and they’re going to really have a good crack at making this work, on this journey to domestic bliss between the scaffolder and the undertaker.’
