General Hospital spoilers indicate Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) came to Port Charles to be a support for his daughter Molly Lansing-Davis

(Kristen Vaganos), and he was certainly there for her during the funeral Irene Ashford, Molly’s unborn baby who was carried by her surrogate,

Kristina Davis-Corinthos (Kate Mansi).

Molly had just learned that Kristina was planning to keep the baby herself, so Ric provided Molly with some much-needed support.

General Hospital Spoilers – Ric Lansing Has A Lot On His Plate

But Rick’s motives for coming to Port Charles seem to be a little murkier. He had already been in contact with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), who asked him to take over Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) case.

In addition, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) had called Rick to represent Ava Jerome (Maura West) in both her criminal and custody cases. Rick certainly loves Molly, but she is certainly not the only thing that brought him back to town.

GH Spoilers – Ric Lansing Still Loves Elizabeth Webber

Ric has loved Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) for many, many years at this point. They were even married for a time, but Ric’s obsession with his brother, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) eventually broke them up.

Ric hasn’t given up, and his most recent return proves he still wants Elizabeth. One of the first things Ric did was ask Elizabeth out.

While Elizabeth was open to reconnecting, she made it clear that all she wanted from Ric was friendship and there was no chance for them as a couple.

General Hospital Spoilers – Lucky Spencer Is Back!

Ric isn’t the only former Port Charles resident who has returned. Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson), arguable the love of Elizabeth’s life, is also back. Elizabeth and Lucky share a son, so there is a very good chance that they will resume their romance.

Ric certainly won’t go down without a fight so look for him to make life for Lucky difficult with the hope that Lucky will return to Africa.

Ric knows that he has no chance with Elizabeth with Lucky back in her life. Even though Elizabeth has been clear that there is no romance in their future, that doesn’t mean Ric will give up.
