EastEnders has revealed the outcome of Nish Panesar’s dramatic prison escape, in the show’s latest episode.

This week, Nish made a desperate attempt to make sure Suki and Eve don’t get married, after finding out through Nugget

that the wedding is still going ahead.

He paid a prison doctor to tell his family that he only has days to live, but when Nish asked Ravi to help his cause, he

refused – telling his dad that Suki deserved happiness.

Nish then took matters into his own hands and planned a prison escape. While he was being taken to a hospice, two armed men stopped the ambulance and Nish was able to leave.

In today’s episode, the paramedics were tied up in the ambulance while the two men took Nish away in a car, and he told them he wanted to go to Walford.

The police showed up at the Panesars’ house and told Suki the shocking news that Nish had escaped custody. As the whole family were interviewed, they realised that Nugget hadn’t returned after storming out earlier – and had left his phone at home.

Suki left to look for her grandson, armed with a knife, and she told Eve to stay at home with Vinny and Avani, instructing her to tell Stacey the news.

The other members of The Six were told about Nish, with Kathy, Denise and Sharon all terrified that he might come looking for them on his return.

As Suki searched for Nugget, Stacey confronted her in the street, and angrily blamed her for what happened after Nish found out about the wedding.

Back at the house, Eve and Vinny were concerned when they heard someone trying to get in through the back door, but it turned out to be Nugget who had returned home.

But the doctor then went to see Nish, who is staying in a small underground space under the Square and gave him the medication he needs. Nish gave him the rest of the money to pay off his gambling debts.

He was pleased to hear that his family were scared, threatening to take revenge soon. With Nish now back in Walford, what will he do next?
