Coronation Street Soap Scoop! Theo manipulates Todd again
Coronation Street‘s Lauren Bolton launches a drink over Amy Barlow next week, just before she and Ollie Driscoll are due to head out on a hot date. But when Maggie urges Lauren to fight for her man, will Ollie fall back into her arms?
In the Rovers, Amy makes it known that she and Ollie are headed out on their first proper date, which clearly rubs Lauren up the wrong way. Afterwards, while handing drinks over to the pair, Lauren accidentally soaks Amy with a pint.
“Talk about awkward – it is a genuine accident on Lauren’s part, but it couldn’t look more intentional if she tried,” our Corrie source explains.
“She’s gutted that Ollie and Amy are making a go of things, then she goes and wrecks Amy’s glamorous outfit before her big date. It’s not a good look for her, and it makes you wonder how it will go down with Ollie, let alone Amy.”

The day after the date, Amy is on cloud nine, while Ollie takes a moment at the pub to reveal that he’s taking his new flame for dinner that night.

Steve and Ben are delighted at the news, but Maggie privately instructs Lauren to go home, put her glad rags on, then head to the restaurant to show Ollie what he’s missing out on. Will Maggie’s plan work out as she hopes – or will it backfire on both her and Lauren?
At Speed Daal, Ollie and Amy enjoy their dinner date, before Lauren rocks up with Betsy Swain by her side. With a stunning outfit on, Lauren immediately commands Ollie’s attention. In fact, Ollie can barely keep his eyes off her.

“It looks as though Maggie’s meddling might just pay off,” our insider continues. “Soon after Lauren and Betsy turn up, Ollie shows obvious interest in his former fling.
“It’s yet to be seen whether Amy notices or whether Ollie can cover his feelings, but Lauren may well have put a spanner in the works. Could this be a case of unfinished business between the pair?”

Later in the week, Ollie has a word with Maggie about her plot to ruin his romantic evening. Next, Lauren makes the brave choice to tell Ollie that she still has feelings for him – but not only that, she wishes that they were still an item.
Could Lauren and Ollie be back on the cards? And why exactly is Maggie ‘Team Lauren’ all of a sudden?
