of the iconic pub. She wrote: “@conversationstreet here’s my post for #soapstartermonday #soapweek Who remembers when Toyah was (arguably the worst) landlady of The Rovers? Nope? Probably for the best. Not my finest hour.
“Anyway I nabbed this sign because let’s be honest nobody else would want it. Join in and share your earliest soap memories/how you became a soap fan/pics of any cool merch or souvenirs you’ve collected. Use the above hashtags.”
Fans were left gobsmacked in the comments section as they discovered Toyah’s middle name – her full name being Toyah Laverne Battersby on the pub sign, reports Leicestershire Live.
One follower exclaimed: “Laverne! ?” to which Georgia responded: “oh yes babe” accompanied by a dancing emoji. Another fan commented: “Who knew Toyah had such a weird middle name…”
Another soap enthusiast remarked: “This is greatly iconic” while another chimed in with: “I love it!” Meanwhile, one user joked: “Thought this was you announcing you were going to be the rovers landlady again for a second. I really need to start reading captions first hahah ! X.”
It comes as Georgia delighted fans with a nostalgic throwback last month, revealing her past connection to an ITV co-star. On Instagram, Georgia shared a snap alongside Jane Hazlegrove, who portrays Bernie Winter in Corrie, and actress Janine Mellor.
