Coronation Street will see The Rovers Return change hands in an upcoming storyline.
Current owner Carla Barlow will be looking to sell the pub to pay back Lisa Swain for the money she borrowed for the kidney transplant.
In upcoming scenes, Carla breaks the news to pub manager Jenny, who’s devastated. Jenny begs Carla to give her the first refusal so she can try to keep the pub, but will the owner accept?
Meanwhile, Jenny is blissfully unaware of barmaid Daisy Midgeley and her mum Christina’s vile scheme against her.
The mother and daughter duo have been pulling a cruel prank on Jenny, pretending to be her mystery suitor, Dominic.

In new scenes, Jenny is delighted when she receives a parcel containing a bottle of Champagne from Dominic’s vineyard, unaware Daisy and Christina are catfishing her.
As much as Jenny will try to keep The Rovers alive, it looks like Carla is determined to put the pub on the market.
Last month, a picture posted by Craig Tinker star Colson Smith included a For Sale sign on the pub, seemingly confirming Carla’s plans.

According to Christina actor Amy Robbins, the pub and the catfishing storylines may collide in Christina and Daisy’s revenge against Jenny. Daisy is furious with her ex-stepmother Jenny for claiming a sum of £60,000 after her ex-husband, and Daisy’s father, had invested some shares in her name when they were married.
“Daisy is so angry with [Jenny]. Jenny has said some awful things to her, they’ve really fallen out about a number of things,” Robbins said, speaking with Digital Spy and other press earlier this week.
“I think [Christina and Daisy] are feeling vengeful. We’re happy to see her lose the pub. We’re happy to see her lose everything in that moment, it’s pretty horrid.”
