EastEnders fans are clamouring for the return of Kheerat Panesar to Walford, as actor Jaz Singh Deol embarks on a new acting venture.
Kheerat initially made his appearance in Albert Square alongside his brother Jags Panesar (Amar Adatia) to confront Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) about a stolen car back in 2019.
When Ben failed to return the stolen vehicle to Kheerat, Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) was abducted in retaliation, marking Kheerat’s assertive entrance into the Square.
The Panesars eventually settled permanently in Walford, with matriarch Suki (Balvinder Sopal) striving to maintain firm control over her children Kheerat, Jags, Vinny (Shiv Jalota), and Ash (Gurlaine Kaur Garcha).

In a heartbreaking turn of events, Kheerat confessed his feelings for Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummer), who was subsequently murdered by her abusive husband Gray (Toby-Alexander Smith) in September 2020, reports Belfast Live.
The couple had planned to escape the East End together before she was tragically killed in a distressing domestic violence storyline.
Despite owning a pest control business, Kheerat wasn’t as squeaky clean as he appeared, engaging in illicit activities with the Mitchells.
Regrettably, Kheerat left Walford in November 2022, when he went to prison, taking the blame for Suki (Balvinder Sopal) over Ranveer’s murder, oblivious that Ravi (Aaron Thiara) was actually the culprit.

Since leaving the beloved soap, actor Jaz Singh Deol has taken to the stage in a new production titled Marriage Material, an adaptation of Sathnam Sanghera’s celebrated novel.
The ex-soap sensation broke the news on Instagram, eliciting a flurry of congratulatory messages from fans. However, many used the opportunity to plea for his return to EastEnders as Kheerat, following a three-year hiatus.
Notably, the actor has also discarded his signature beard after his farewell from Walford. Diving into the comments, one fan pleaded: “Come back to EastEnders plz!”.

“Will you be returning to EastEnders?”, someone else enquired.
In addition to treading the boards, Jaz is featuring in a new film entitled Terminal, which has been selected for the Brighton Rocks International Film Festival.
