Joseph Duggar’s sister Jessa Duggar Seewald has broken her silence over something that has affected her life as well as the 9-year-old victim. 10 years ago, the public found out that she had been molested by her older brother, Josh Duggar, who is now serving 12.5 years for receiving and possessing child pornography.
Joseph was recently arrested for a sex crime against an underage girl. Duggar was charged with Lewd and Lascivious Behavior—molesting a kid under 12 years old and Lewd and Lascivious Behavior by an adult 18 years or older.
Jessa Duggar has finally spoken out about the arrest of her younger brother Joseph Duggar. She has since deleted her post.
“We found out about this sad news along with the rest of the world on Wednesday, and we are in complete shock,” Jessa, 33, wrote in a now-deleted Instagram Stories post on Friday, March 20, on behalf of herself and husband Ben Seewald.
“Our hearts are grieving for this innocent young girl, and we know this is deeply grievous to God, who cares tenderly for children and the vulnerable. We are keeping her in our prayers,” Jessa wrote in the post

Joseph Duggar Will Soon Be Extradited To Florida
Joseph’s actions have been criticized by Jill and Derick Dillard. They wrote “Justice be served” and “Stand with the alleged victim” and then went on to defend their sister-in-law, Kendra. We love our sister-in-law, Kendra, and our four nieces and nephews, and pray that they feel loved and supported during this time, as we cannot imagine the indescribable pain they feel as they process and grieve everything.”
Joseph, Jim Bob, and Michelle Duggar’s seventh child, has given up his right to an extradition hearing in Arkansas. He will soon be sent to Florida to face charges. The Arkansas sheriff has been stern that there will be no special treatment for the TLC star.

As of this writing, there is no court date in Florida. Duggar is still in Arkansas, waiting for a ride to Florida. There are a number of things that need to be done in a case like this one, where the suspect was caught in a different state from where the crime happened. Joseph has given up his right to be sent back to Florida. Joseph has been honest thus far during the booking process. The inquiry is still going on, so additional charges could be coming. His wife, Kendra, was not at his first court appearance today, March 20th, nor were any Duggar family members.
