Zennon Ditchett, who originally played Aadi Alahan onCoronation Street, has taken a surprising turn in his career path since leaving the cobbles.
Aadi, the son of Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) and the late Sunita (Shobna Gulati), was born in 2006 and has a twin sister Asha (Tanisha Gorey).
Zennon portrayed Aadi from 2009 to 2019, during which time he was involved in some major storylines, including the heart-wrenching death of his mum Sunita.
After Zennon departed the show in 2019 to concentrate on his studies, Adam Hussain stepped into Aadi’s shoes in 2020.

This year, however, it was revealed that Adam would be leaving the soap, with the actor expressing a desire for “pastures new” in a statement he posted online regarding his departure. Meanwhile, Coronation Street has been setting the scene for Aadi’s exit, reports the Daily Star.
Zennon Ditchett, the original portrayer of Aadi, has now embarked on a completely different career as a management accountant at REFY.

His LinkedIn profile shows a grown-up Zennon looking quite different from his days on the soap. Although Zennon’s Instagram is private, you can catch a glimpse of him living it up in his profile picture, where he’s seen shirtless by the beach in black shorts.
He’s still connected to his former co-stars, with Tanisha Gorey (Asha Alahan), Ellie Leach (Faye Windass), and Elle Mulvaney (Amy Barlow) among his followers.
Meanwhile, earlier this year, the new Aadi actor Hussain confirmed his departure from the soap, saying: “I guess the secrets out now!

“As some of you may have heard, I will be leaving Coronation Street for new pastures,’ the actor penned, alongside a recent photo of the full Corrie cast.”
“Over the 5 years I’ve spent there I have learned so much about the world and the industry and now feel I am ready to spread my wings a little. I have made friends that will last a lifetime and will surely miss such a special family! This isn’t a farewell for Aadi however, more like a see you later!”
