An EastEnders actress has been showered in support from fans after a message about her co-star.
Alice Haig landed on the Square as Vicki Fowler back in March, as the character (who is the adoptive half-sister of Sharon Watts) returned from Australia.
She brought with her partner Ross Marshall (played by Alex Walkinshaw) and his troublesome son Joel (Max Murray).
Joel has so far been a part of some shocking storylines, having been influenced by misogynistic content online, secretly filming himself having sex with Avani Nandra-Hart (Aalyiah James) and inappropriately touching a woman on the tube in front of his new friend Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall).
However, Alice has now revealed Max’s true character is worlds away from Joel’s.

Sharing a selfie on Instagram, she wrote: “Always brilliant working with the class act that is @maxmurray.official.
“Not only is he a fantastic actor on screen but he’s respectful, kind and incredibly hard working off it.
“Not easy doing this job at such a young age and he is smashing it! Making a pretend step-mum very proud!”
Fans threw their support behind the pair, with one writing: “Two brilliant actors I love watching you both on screen your portrayal of Vicki and Joel is perfection! Two perfect castings.”
Another said: “Love you both!! Brilliant work as always.”
A third wrote: “TWO legends,” while someone else gushed: “You guys are fantastic and you are looking good and I’m very impressed and Joel Marshall too and love you @alicehaig.official both so much you both are my favourite.”
Max also replied to the post, commenting: “I’m beyond lucky to be working with you love ya.”
The young star is the son of singer Gina Murray and the grandson of songwriter Mitch Murray, and has clearly followed in their footsteps, as he’s part of a band with his brother Joe.
Gina also appeared in a 2014 episode of EastEnders, where she played a woman named Helen, a specialist who wanted to help Carol Jackson find a wig amid her cancer battle.
When EastEnders fans discovered Max and his brother’s band, The Murray Brotherz, they were shocked to discover his hidden talent.
One fan wrote: “Okay so that’s acting and singing ticked off. Add dancing next to become a legit triple threat. Max has that X Factor!”
