Meri Brown Drops Bombshell with Shocking Admission About Christine
Meri Brown has different types of relationships with her former sister wives, identifying Christine Brown as the one sheâs heard from least.
Meri, 53, exclusively told Us Weekly on Tuesday, December 10, that sheâd describe her friendship with Sister Wives costar Christine, 52, as ânonexistentâ after they each split from husband Kody Brown.
âI wish her all the best. We have had a lot of life together. Weâve had a lot of fun in our past, but our paths just donât align right now,â Meri explained. âThey may crisscross here and there throughout our lives [but] weâre not living parallel lives anymore.â
As Kodyâs first wife, Meri has had varying relationships with all of his wives past and present. Meri and Kody, 55, wed in 1990 before expanding their family with Janelle Brown in 1993 and Christine in 1994.

The polygamist family faced a big change in 2014 when Kody legally divorced Meri and legally married fourth wife Robyn Brown. At the time, he also adopted her three children from a past marriage.
While Meri remained in a spiritual union with Kody for nearly another decade, the family began to fracture in 2021 when Christine announced her divorce from the patriarch. Janelle, 55, revealed in December 2022 that she had separated from Kody, while Meri waited until January 2023 to confirm her own split.
Sister Wives fans have been privy to the ups and downs that have followed the breakups, including Christine getting married in October 2023 to David Woolley. Janelle and her kids were all invited to the nuptials as was Meriâs child, Leon, but she was not on the guest list.
âIt was totally fine. I think that weddings you need to just have the people around you that you are most comfortable with, and I wasnât that for her, and Iâm totally fine with that,â Meri told Us of the snub. âI think that both of us have probably really just embraced the fact that this is where we are in our lives and we wish each other the best. I know that she does the same for me.â
Meri, who moved from Arizona to Utah after her marriage was terminated by the church, insisted that she hopes Christine is âliving her best life,â but reiterated that their worlds âdonât crossâ at the moment.
Meri noted that she does âtalk to Janelle on occasion,â calling their interactions âcordialâ and âdecent.â She added, âIâm happy with how that i

When it comes to her relationship with Robyn, 46, who is still married to Kody and living in Arizona, Meri is trying to find their new normal. The pair grew close toward the end of Meriâs romance with Kody and sheâs remained part of Robynâs kidsâ lives.
âWe donât talk very often,â Meri confessed of the womenâs current dynamic. âIâm in a place of moving forward in my life and doing things that progress my life, and thatâs just kind of part of my past.â
The reality star explained that she has put up boundaries, which she isnât âsureâ Robyn is OK with. âWe did have quite a few years through COVID-19 and stuff that we didnât have a lot of interaction, and so itâs really not much different than that,â Meri said.
Even though Meri isnât sure where she and Robyn stand, she told Us sheâs âcordialâ with Kody.
âWe donât see each other. Weâre kind to each other, but weâre not seeking each other out to have a phone call or a text conversation,â she shared. âHe says often, âWeâll be friends, weâll be friends,â and itâs like, âOK, weâll be friendly,â I think, but itâs not like weâre best friendâs status or anything like that. Iâm good with it.â
Sister Wives airs on TLC Sundays at 10 p.m. ET.
