CORONATION Street fans have been left baffled by a major storyline which has been FORGOTTEN despite it causing one character to leave.
Fans of the ITV soap opera will remember how Beth Tinker made a hasty exit last summer after clashing with Kit Green.

Beth was forced to flee from Coronation Street after a showdown with her son Craig’s boss Kit Green.
The factory worker had discovered Kit’s dodgy policeman ways and had threatened to expose him if he didn’t cut her back in on the back street clothes selling deal they had both wound up in.
In response, Kit got Craig drunk and encouraged him to spill his secrets on his criminal activities.
He then used this information threaten Beth that her son’s career would be over if she ever released the video she had of Kit engaging with the clothes-selling crook.
However, fans have now questioned why the plot has seemingly been abandoned with Kit no longer appearing to be associated with the dodgy clothes dealings as well as why Kit having the incriminating evidence of Craig has never been brought up again.
Commenting on the forgotten plot, one fan wrote on Reddit: “5 months in and nothing has been suspected. Just like all of that smug t***’s secrets, this one is safely secure.”
As another added: “Craig couldn’t find the ground if he fell out of a plane.”
However, others think they may have figured out when the bombshell will finally be dropped ahead of Craig Tinker’s impending exit.
Earlier this year, it was confirmed that actor Colson Smith had been axed from his role as the police officer and would be leaving Weatherfield for good later this year.
It has led some fans to think this could now be a part of his exit with Kit finally revealing to him why his mother was force to flee the cobbles.

A Corrie viewer predicted: “I suspect that may be coming soon.”
Colson confirmed that he was told he would be written out of the show after being told of the news in Autumn 2024.
The actor wrote on Instagram: “Autumn last year I was told that Craig Tinker’s time on the Cobbles is to come to end in 2025.
“I’ve loved every single second of my 14 year stay as a resident on the greatest street in the world. I feel incredibly lucky to have grown up in, on and around Coronation Street.
“I’ve learned pretty much everything about life from the people who call it home.
“I’m excited to play out the exit story for our Craigy. For me, this is the end of the beginning.
“I genuinely can’t wait to see what chapter two has in store for me.”
