Steve (Stephen Nichols) asked Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) if Stephanie (Abigail Klein) had told her anything about Titan-DiMera and Kayla remembered Stephanie confiding in her about something Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) had done. Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie celebrated her upcoming book release. Later, Stephanie asked her father why he’s investigating Titan-DiMera. EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) vented to Tony (Thaao Penghlis) about Johnny’s (Carson Boatman) case. Johnny and Chanel (Raven Bowens) battled over clearing each other’s names. Marlena (Deidre Hall) decided to take a leave of absence from the hospital.

Tuesday, August 19, 2025, Episode #15186

At Hourglass Bookstore, Rachel (Alice Halsey) bonded with Foster over books while Marlena and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) updated each other on what they’ve been up to and Julie decided to buy the bookstore. At the trial, Johnny proved the video of Chanel was AI. Later, Johnny and Belle (Martha Madison) both gave their closing statements. Later, when Marlena brought Rachel home, EJ suddenly remembered Rachel being the one who shot him. Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) continued taking care of Chad (Billy Flynn).

Wednesday, August 20, 2025, Episode #15187

Steve assured Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) no one would find out he’s investigating Titan-DiMera, then he called Paul (Christopher Sean) asking for help with the investigation. Alex asked Stephanie to be Titan-DiMera’s PR and she agreed. After EJ remembered Rachel shooting him, Marlena admitted she suspected Rachel. When they informed Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), she broke down over the realization and EJ made it clear that he would turn Rachel in if he had to.

Thursday, August 21, 2025, Episode #15188

Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) ran into Sophia (Rachel Boyd) at the pub and tried convincing her to tell the truth about the baby. Tate (Leo Howard) told Brady (Eric Martsolf) the update from the adoptive parents and Brady comforted his son. Later, they ran into Sophia and Sarah at the pub and Sophia misspoke to Brady and accidentally referred to the baby as “him.” Leo (Greg Rikaart) discussed Johnny’s verdict with the rest of the jury and Adam (Timothy Hornor) argued that Johnny is guilty. Kristen and EJ deliberated about how to handle the situation with Rachel.

Friday, August 22, 2025, Episode #15189

Everyone arrived for the verdict and EJ let Marlena know that Kristen had a plan. When the judge asked for the verdict, before Leo could announce it, Kristen barged in and — falsely — confessed to shooting EJ. The court went into recess while Kristen was arrested, then later the case was dismissed. Still thinking about Sophia’s slip of the tongue, Brady questioned Sarah about her reaction to Sophia’s baby being a girl and she reminded him she can’t divulge anything about Sophia or the baby. Later, after finding out about the verdict, Kristen was visited in jail by Brady.

Week Ahead

Soon, in Salem, Sophia’s secret might be blown, while Belle does some bonding with Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier).
